Gala Entries
26th March 2010
Just a reminder about gala entries. When entering a swimmer for a gala that has qualifying times, please ensure that the swimmer's current personal best is either, below the qualifying time where only one is specified, or between the qualifying times where an upper and lower time are specified, otherwise the entries will be rejected.
Nicky Sanders has spent a lot of time recently on entries which were not eligible to enter certain galas. Entry times can always be found on the Fixtures Page for each event.
Please also remember that cheques should be made payable to 'Chelmsford Swimming Club', and not the club hosting the gala, as we enter all our swimmers centrally.

Training and Sickness do not mix !!
26th October 2009
Over the last few weeks quite a few swimmers have been turning up to training with the start of a cold or flu, and getting out early or not training fully, which in the hot damp environment of the pool spreads the illness rapidly around the rest of the swimmers
Unless you are well enough to train properly, you should not attend a training session. Swimming is an intensive sport and requires 100% fitness, so if you are unwell please do not come to training and spread your germs to others. A few days off usually means you are not contagious, so please respect the other swimmers in your squad.
If you are interested in any of the activities undertaken by Chelmsford Swimming Club and wish to find out more, please email us at info@chelmsfordswimmingclub.org.uk.
